Linda Kay (Wiyrick) Peavler, 77, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Kirksville Manor Care Center.
Linda was born October 4, 1947 in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of the late Pearl Hulet and Maude Ivalee (Waddle) Wiyrick. Linda was married to Kenny Peavler who preceded her in death on May 11, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her step daughter, Konda.
Linda is survived by one son, Ronnie Rouse Jr. of Kirksville, MO; step daughter, Kenda Roberts of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Leo Shaw of Brashear, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Reta and Doug Meline of Kirksville, MO; and a nephew, Trey Meline of Kirksville, MO.
Linda was a graduate of Kirksville High School. She was employed a number of years for Lambert Glove Factory. She enjoyed country music and going to Southern Missouri and Branson.
Public visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with service following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Pastor Virgil Jones will officiate the service and interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.
