Robert Leon Trenter, 68 of Milan, Missouri passed away surrounded by family January 16th, 2025 at University of Missouri Hospital, in Columbia, Missouri. Bob was born December 23rd, 1956 in Centerville, Iowa to Robert Trenter and Thelma Johnson.
Bob is also survived by two daughter: Brandi Trenter (Rob Behrens) of Milan, Missouri; Kendra Sinclair (Prakash Gode) of Milan; five sons, Brian Trenter (Cegi Smith) of Milan, Robert Trenter (Lisa) of Milan, Jeremy Bennet (Rebecca), of Milan, Josh Bennett of Milan, and Jordan Bennett of Sedalia, Missouri; Grandchildren, Tadem Richardson, Hailey and Taylor Trenter, Kamy and Farah Trenter, Jeremy, Ethan, Khloe, and Beckham Bennett, Khash Gode, Christian and Knox Bennett. Bob is also survived by two brothers, John Simmons and Chancey Fitzwater, and five sisters, Tammy Reyna, Clara Culp, Annie Lamb, Candy Johnson, and Alice Wattenbarger.
Bob and Belinda Trenter had three kids together. He later met Penny where he took in and raised 3 more boys just as his own.
Bob enjoyed watching the Chiefs games and Gunsmoke, talking to anyone he would see, antiques, fishing, and spending time with all his grandchildren. Bob can always be remembered for his love for others and that contagious smile. He will be missed by all.
Funeral services for Bob will be held 11:30 AM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan, Missouri. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, starting at 10:30 AM, at the funeral home.
