Lloyd Charles McDonald, age 82 of Milan, Missouri, died December 23, 2024, at the home of his daughters in Gladstone, Missouri.
The youngest child of Orval Cecil and Frances Elizabeth (Brummitt) McDonald, he was born on August 18, 1942, in Pollock, Missouri. He was married to Shirley Kay Nickell from 1963-1974 and together they had four children: Linda, Glenda, Steven, and Patricia. Lloyd married Linda Lee Jackson on November 23, 1977, in Milan, Missouri. They were married until she passed away in 2006.
Surviving are children Linda Underhill of Gladstone, MO, Glenda Webb of Gladstone, MO, Steven (Laurie) McDonald of Richards, MO, and Patricia Reams of Gladstone, MO; 10 grandchildren Kyle (Ashley) Underhill, Paige (Tyler Whitted) Underhill, Christopher (Kristina) Webb, Madison (Ashley) Webb II, Justin (Catelynn Harter) McDonald, Brandon (Ranae Jacks-Luther) McDonald, Brenna (Colby Leslie) McDonald, Sasha (Marcel King) Graham, Chad Reams, Heath (Brittany) Reams; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters Jean Brandenburg and Janette (Bonny) Neighbors; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, sisters June Neighbors and Bonnie Pearson, brothers-in-law Bob Brandenburg, Jerry Pearson, and Allen Wright; and nephew Marty Neighbors.
A visitation for Lloyd will be held 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Friday, December 27, 2024 at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan, Missouri. There will be a private burial later at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
