NATIONAL LEAGUE
PHILADELPHIA 4 – Milwaukee 3… Kyle Schwarber homered to lead off the bottom of the first inning and made a leaping catch of the wall in the fifth as the Phillies held off the Brewers. Aaron Nola (9-6) allowed two runs on five hits over 7-1/3 innings.

San Francisco 4 – CINCINNATI 2 (10 innings)… Joc Pederson lined a tie-breaking RBI double and came around to score in the top of the 10th inning to push the Giants past the Reds in a game that was suspended in the eighth inning on Monday due to rain with the score tied 2-2.

San Francisco 11 – CINCINNATI 10… Wilmer Flores homered twice and drove in five runs as the Giants slugged their way past the Reds. Luis Matos’ two-run single in the top of the seventh inning provided the winning margin. Mike Yastrzemski contributed a two-run double.

Arizona 16 – ATLANTA 13… Gerardo Perdomo lined a tie-breaking two-run double and scored on Ketel Marte’s single in the top of the ninth inning as the Diamondbacks slugged their way past the Braves. Christian Walker had three hits, including a pair of homers, and drove in five runs. Emmanuel Rivera also went deep.

ST. LOUIS 5 – Miami 2 (10 innings)… Nolan Arenado’s three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning gave the Cardinals a walkoff win over the Marlins. Brandon Donovan led off the sixth with a game tying homer and Nolan Gorman’s RBI double tied the game in the seventh.

CHI. CUBS 17 – Washington 3… The Cubs buried the Nationals with a six-run bottom of the seventh inning that broke open a tied game and turned it into a rout with an eight-run eighth. Seiya Suzuki’s four hits led a 20-hit attack and included a homer and three RBIs. Patrick Wisdom also went deep for Chicago.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
TEXAS 5 – Tampa Bay 3… Corey Seager’s three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning proved to be the difference in the Rangers’ win over the Rays. Marcus Semien slugged a solo homer. Nathan Eovaldi (11-3) limited Tampa Bay to two hits over six innings.

KANSAS CITY 11 – Detroit 10… The Royals withstood a four-run ninth-inning rally to escape with a win over the Tigers.. Edward Oliveras’ two-run single highlighted a five-run top of the fourth inning. Maikel Garcia had a couple of hits and drove in four runs.

L.A. ANGELS 5 – N.Y. Yankees 1… Patrick Sandoval (5-7) surrendered just a run on two hits over seven innings and the Angels cruised past the Yankees. Mickey Moniak provided all the offense L.A. needed with a two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning and added a run-scoring infield single in the fifth.

OAKLAND 3 – Boston 0… Luis Media (3-7) pitched three-hit ball over 5-2/3 innings and four Athletics relievers completed the shutout of the Red Sox. Ryan Noda hit a leadoff homer and JJ Bleday added a two-run shot as Oakland scored all three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Minnesota 10 – SEATTLE 3… Alex Kirilloff hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the third inning and the Twins went on to crush the Mariners. Willi Castro had three hits and knocked in three runs. Edouard Julien went 3-for-5 with a solo homer.

INTERLEAGUE
Cleveland 10 – PITTSBURGH 1… Josh Naylor homered twice and drove in six runs to lead the Guardians in their pounding of the Pirates. Josh Bell homered with a runner aboard. Logan Allen (4-2) pitched one-hit ball over five scoreless innings.

San Diego 9 – TORONTO 1… Juan Soto hit a two-run homer in the first, doubled home a run in the third and the Padres rolled past the Blue Jays. Manny Machado, Gary Sánchez and Trent Grisham smacked solo homers. Jake Cronenworth stroked a two-run double.

L.A. Dodgers 10 – BALTIMORE 3… Jason Heyward’s three-run homer sparked a five-run top of the second inning and the Dodgers never looked back in thrashing to the Orioles. Will Smith had four hits, including a run-scoring single. Michael Grove (2-2) allowed a run on five hits over five innings.

N.Y. METS 11 – Chi. White Sox 10… Francisco Alvarez smacked a pair of two-run homers and the Met held off the White Sox. DJ Stewart and Brett Baty added solo shots. Jeff McNeil had a couple of hits and drove in two runs.

COLORADO 4 – Houston 3… Ezequiel Tovar tripled home C.J. Cron with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the fourth inning and the Rockies made it stand in their win over the Astros. Kris Bryant hit a two-run homer and Ryan McMahon made it back-to-back as Colorado tied the game with a three-run first.
