AMERICAN LEAGUE
Detroit 7 – TEXAS 2… Andy Ibañez belted a tie-breaking three-run homer in the top of the third inning to give the Tigers the lead for good in their win over the Rangers. Jake Rogers homered with a runner aboard. Four Detroit relievers closed the door after starter Matt Boyd left with elbow discomfort after just 15 pitches and reliever Will Vest left an inning later with a sore knee.

L.A. ANGELS 2 – Chi. White Sox 1… Mike Trout raced home with the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning and the Angels squeezed out a win over the White Sox. Shohei Ohtani smacked a game-tying solo homer in the fourth. L.A. starter Reid Detmers and his counterpart Dylan Cease both recorded 10 strikeouts but neither got a decision.

INTERLEAGUE
BALTIMORE 10 – Cincinnati 3… Austin Hays drove in three runs with a double and a single and the Orioles rolled past the Reds. Adley Rutschman contributed a two-run single.

Milwaukee 2 – N.Y. METS 1… Joey Wiemer cracked a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the sixth inning and the Brewers hung on to edge the Mets. Colin Rea (4-4) allowed just a run on three hits over 6-1/3 innings.

ATLANTA 4 – Minnesota 1… Marcell hit a tie-breaking leadoff homer and Ronald Acuña Jr. added a two-run shot in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Braves put away the Twins. Spencer Strider (9-2) held Minnesota to a run on three hits and struck out 10 over seven innings.

SEATTLE 8 – Washington 4… Eugenio Suarez hit a solo homer in the bottom of the fourth inning and lifted a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the fifth to help push the Mariners past the Nationals. Kutter Crawford also homered for Seattle. Julio Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with a run-scoring single.
