MLB SCORES…
NATIONAL LEAGUE
San Francisco 4 – ST. LOUIS 3… Brandon Crawford singled home Patrick Bailey with a tie-breaking run in the top of the eighth inning and the Giants made it stand in edging the Cardinals. Mitch Hanigar drove in two runs with a single and a double.

Philadelphia 10 – ARIZONA 9… Bryson Stott singled home a run and pinch-hitter Kody Clemens followed with a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to rally the Phillies past the Diamondbacks after Philadelphia blew an early four-run lead. J.T. Realmuto homered to lead off the second and legged out a two-run triple in the third. Alec Bohm drove in two runs with a double and a single.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
L.A. Angels 9 – TEXAS 6 (12 innings)… Two-run homers by Shohei Ohtani and Chad Wallach in the top of the 12th inning powered the Angels past the Rangers.
Ohtani also homered with the bases empty and lifted a sacrifice fly.

OAKLAND 4 – Tampa Bay 3… Shea Langeliers lined a bases-clearing double and scored on Ryan Noda’s single as the Athletics scored all four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and held off the Rays. James Kaprielian (2-6) took a shutout into the sixth inning.

INTERLEAGUE
DETROIT 6 – Atlanta 5 (10 innings)… The Tigers came from four runs down after 7-1/2 innings to outlast the Braves. Spencer Torkelson hit a two-run homer to spark a three-run bottom of the ninth inning and singled home Andy Ibañez with the winning run in the 10th.  Ibañez homered with the bases empty for Detroit.

Cincinnati 5 – KANSAS CITY 4 (10 innings)…The Reds overcame an early three-run deficit to top the Royals. Jonathan India’s infield grounder scored J.T. Friedl with a tie-breaking run in the top of the 10th inning. Stuart Fairchild homered to lead off the third.

Colorado 4 – BOSTON 3 (10 innings)… The Rockies scored twice in the top of the 10th inning on a bases-loaded walk and an error to sneak past the Red Sox. Jurickson Profar had three hits and scored a run.

SEATTLE 8 – Miami 1… Teoscar Hernández singled home a run and scored in the bottom of the first inning to provide all the offense the Mariners needed in their win over the Marlins. Ty France belted a three-run homer and Eugenio Suárez added a solo shot for Seattle.
