Phyllis Daniels

Phyllis Chrystine (Bramhall) Daniels, 86 of rural Queen City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri.

The daughter of Fon A. and Nora (Spence) Bramhall, she was born on November 19, 1935 in Lemons, Missouri. She was a 1953 graduate of the Unionville High School in Unionville, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Harold Jr. Daniels on October 30, 1954 in Unionville, Missouri and to this union two sons were born, Dana and David.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Dana Daniels and wife, Lynn of Kirksville, Missouri and David Daniels and wife, Sandy of rural Queen City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Logan Daniels and wife, Makenzie of Queen City, Missouri and Shana Daniels of Burbank, California; two great grandchildren, Chip and Temple Daniels of Queen City, Missouri; three sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Bramhall of Kansas, Carol Bramhall of Kansas and Phyllis Bramhall of Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews; other family members and many good friends.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; one grandson, Ty Andrew Daniels; three brothers, Fon Jr., Dan and Larry Bramhall and three sisters, Thelma Radley, Barbara Grabosch and Reta Jo Bramhall.

Harold and Phyllis owned and operated a dairy farm in Worthington, Missouri for 30 plus years and sold out in 1993 due to Harold’s failing health. She then moved to Glenwood, Missouri to be closer to her family.

Phyllis was an extremely accomplished seamster as she was an avid quilter and did many alternations of all kinds. She loved sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and attended all the grandkids sporting events. She was active in 4-H in her youth and continued that service in the role of an adult leader. She was very involved in the 66 Wrangler Saddle Club in Queen City, Missouri. Each year at the annual trail ride, everyone looked forward to her donuts!

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Josh Ritzheimer, Pastor of the United Methodist Church assisted by Gary Stump of Lancaster, Missouri officiating. Music will be a special CD selection of “Amazing Grace”. Pallbearers will be Bill Radley, Skip Radley, Ron Finnern, Dave Luke, Dale West and David Crabtree. Honorary pallbearer will be Fred Radley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for Schuyler County Junior Livestock Association. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com.
