Tim Marble, age 66 of St. Louis, MO passed away Monday October 24, 2022, at St. Louis University Medical Center.
He was born January 19th 1956, in Edina, MO to Raymond Sylvanus and Lowella Verne (Patterson) Marble. He received his education in Edina and graduated from Knox County High School in 1975. Later he received his Associates Degree in horticulture and landscaping through St. Louis Community College. Tim was united in marriage to Diane Allen on August 5, 1978. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, hunting, fishing, working on old cars, watching any detective or police shows, and he always helped anybody in need. Tim was a great storyteller and loved spending quality time with his family and friends. He worked at Sunset Country Club for 28 years as a Grounds Crew Assistant Superintendent. Tim cherished the relationships he built with both Co Workers and Members throughout his years there. Tim loved animals and he never knew a stranger. He was a man of faith who attended church at The Crossing in St. Louis MO.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Marble of St. Louis, MO; his mother Verne Marble of Edina, MO: his children Brittany Marble (Michael Barrett) and Elise (Chase) Kohler both from Arnold, MO; his grandchildren Cali Marble and Chase Leonard; One brother Terry (Rose) Marble of Edina, MO; two sisters Nancy Hamlin of Edina, MO and Charlotte (Mike) Dyslin of Fairfield, CT; sister-in-law Janet (Ruey) Douglas of Novelty, MO; brother-in-law David Allen of Canton, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his father Raymond Marble: his father-in-law James K Allen; and his brother-in-law Charley Hamlin.
Visitation services will be held at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO on Saturday October 29, 2022 from 12-2pm and immediately followed by the Funeral Service at 2pm.
The Burial will be at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, MO. Officiating the services will be Pastor Angela Beise from the Crossing Church in St. Louis, MO.
Musical selections will be I Can Only Imagine (Mercy Me), Remember When (Alan Jackson), and Go Rest High on that Mountain (Vince Gill).
Pallbearers include Tony, Tanner, and Carter Marble of Edina MO; Chase Leonard of Arnold, MO, Jeff Hamlin of Edina, MO; Jeremy Hamlin of Memphis, MO.
Honorary Pallbearers include Ruey Douglas of Novelty, MO; JL Brenizer of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; Darrell Lewis of Maryland Heights, MO; David Hamlin of Edina, MO; and Billy Hunter of Edina, MO.
