Adalee (Hoskins) Hecke, 63, of Milan, Missouri, passed, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
Born July 12, 1956 in Kirksville, Missouri, Adalee was the daughter of Glen Henry and Donna June (Gilkison) Hoskins. On July 3, 1987 in Kirksville, Missouri, Adalee was united in marriage to Robert A. Hecke.
Adalee is survived by her husband Robert of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Michael Hamblin of Milan, MO; her mother-in-law, Shirley Alexander; one brother, Larry Hamilton of Greentop, MO; two sisters, Linda Gordy and Robin (Charles) Shacklett all of Kirksville, MO; and one grandchild, Adrienna Hamblin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Bobby Gunnels and her husband Wade, as well as several aunts and uncles.
Adalee was a graduate from Kirksville High School. She worked ten years for a video store and several years for Hallmark Cards. Adalee later worked as a pharmacist assistant until her health started failing and then become a full time homemaker and caretaker of children in her home.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool, reading, and watching movies, but most of all she loved Church, Bread of Life, and her family.
Private graveside services were held at Lutz Cemetery, south of Novinger with Pastor Ralph Wheeler officiating.
Pallbearers were Michael Hamblin, David Melone, Christian Cuevas, Adrian Cuevas, Jeff May, and Chris Buckwalter.
Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
