Donald Eugene Nickell, 80, of Milan, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Milan Health Care Facility.
Donald was born on June 3, 1944, in Kirksville, Missouri, to parents, Delbert and Elizabeth Lee (Bowling) Nickell.
Donald is survived by five children: Donna Kay Monahan of Virginia, Dinah Jones of Trenton, Missouri, Syntitha Morehead of Milan, Missouri, Donald Nickell Jr. of Marceline, Missouri, and Montana Siemer of Mercer, Missouri, grandchildren; Shanna Connor, Shawn Connor, Zachary Jones, Dre Morehead, Tate Morehead, Harlow Nickell, Jayde Nickell, Onyx Nickell and Cash Siemer, great grandchildren; Declan Martin, Finley-Kay Connor and Christian Connor, two brothers; Richard (Debbie) Nickell of Liberty, Missouri and Jim (Barb) Nickell of Milan, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Shirley Baker and Clara Butler, and two brothers; Robert Nickell and Clifford Nickell and a son in law, Nathan Morehead.
A visitation for Donald will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan, Missouri. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sullivan County Senior Center.
