Beulah Marie “Weisie” (Morris) Gardner, 76, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at her home.
The daughter of the late Charles Seth and Beulah Leona (Boley) Morris, she was born July 13, 1948 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was also preceded in death by one son, Mark Douglas Gardner; two sisters, Loretta Sparks and Bernice Briggs; and two brothers, Charles Edward Morris and Gerald Lee Morris. On June 12, 1993 in Kirksville, Missouri, Weisie was united in marriage to John Lavern Gardner.
Weisie is survived by her husband John of thirty-one years; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Leslie Robert Gardner of Chicago, IL, and Chris John and Heather Gardner of Queen City, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Sharon Morris of Fulton, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Lula and Herb Payne of Kirksville, MO; four grandchildren, Brier Crump, Jake Gardner, Matt Oliver and Desi Oliver; four great-grandchildren, Anna, Carter, and Wyatt Crump, and Charlie Gardner; as well as several nieces and nephews.
It was Weisie’s wish to be cremated and graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2024 at Queen City Cemetery in Queen City, Missouri, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Weisie may be made to her husband John Gardner and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
