Darrell Leon Koger, 82, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home under Hospice care.
Born June 7, 1942 in Kirksville, Missouri, Darrell was the son of the late Paul and Imagene (Hentis) Koger. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Randy Koger. On September 25, 1965 in Mountain View, Missouri, Darrell was united in marriage to Barbara Yarber.
Darrell is survived by his wife Barbara of fifty-eight years; two daughters, Sharri Goodman and husband Andy of Blue Springs, MO, and Pamela Koger of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother, Kelvin Koger and wife Tracy of Kirksville, MO; three sisters, Sharon Loos and husband Lou of Lee’s Summit, MO, Donna Fox and husband Jack of Carrolton, MO, and Dulcie Scram of LaPlata, MO; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Daniel) Lewis of Odessa, MO, Jessie Tyrell of Oklahoma City, OK; Corey (Susan) Goodman of Bates City, MO, Natasha (Cody) Middleton of Moore, OK, and Taylor (Alexis) Goodman of North Kansas City, MO; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.
It was Darrell’s wish to be cremated and no service be held.
Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
