Lori Dawn Truitt, 52, of Milan, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, surrounded by her family.
Lori was born on December 22, 1971 to Larry and Carolyn (Kain) Magee and they survive. On February 17, 2017, she married Richard Truitt, after being together since the 90’s, and he survives of the home. Also surviving are her parents; two sons, Adam Truitt of Milan and James (Melissa) Truitt of Tennessee; grandchildren, Josh Truitt and Tristin Truitt; one sister, Tracy Magee of Missouri; nephew, Kenyan Sealy; her beloved dog, Phoebe; and several dear uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by: A daughter, Lisa Marie Truitt, Grandma Nan and Grandma Emil.
A service for Lori will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, starting at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
