Lucy Ollie (Bozarth) Leasman, 90, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
Born October 30, 1933 in Hurdland, Missouri, Lucy was the daughter of the late Ernest Parm and Ada Belle (Saner) Bozarth. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Burton and Sharon Tarlton; one grandchild, Trent Hannah in infancy; five sisters; and three brothers.
Lucy was united in marriage to Howard Leon Dalton on November 16, 1957 in Kirksville, Missouri. On December 18, 1965 in LaPlata, Missouri, Lucy married Herbert Charles Leasman and they celebrated fifty-eight years of marriage in December. She is also survived by three daughters, Sueanna Hannah and husband Larry of Kirksville, MO, Brenda Smith of Cortland, OH, and Joyce Cawthorn of Jackson, MO; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 with family receiving friends in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home for one hour before service time. Pastor Virgil Jones will officiate the service and interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.
