Martena (Marty) Louise Yadon, 82 of Kirksville passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2024, at The Pines Post-Acute Rehab and Retirement Center.
The daughter of Harry and Frances (May) Miller, she was born April 27, 1942, south of Worthington, Missouri. She was united in marriage to J Leroy Yadon on November 23, 1963 in Kirksville, MO. They had two children, one son and one daughter.
Marty is survived by her daughter, Tena Yadon of Kirksville and granddaughter Kelsey Yadon (Jay Yadon deceased) of Kirksville. She is also survived by two brothers, Charles (Sandra) Miller of Smithville, MO, and Marvin (Marilyn) Miller of Queen City and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leroy; her son Jay; her sister Mary Ellen Followwill and three brothers, Dean Miller, Donnie Miller, and Dale Miller.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. A Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville, Missouri.
