Charles Eugene Neagle, 79 of rural Lancaster, Missouri passed away at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
The son of Darrel Emerson and Martha Isabelle (Dickerson) Neagle, he was born on April 24, 1944 at the Grim Smith Hospital in Kirksville, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Peggy Celeste Dotson on December 26, 1989 in Lancaster, Missouri and to this union one son, Jordan Charles was born.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Peggy of Lancaster, Missouri; one son, Jordan Charles Neagle and wife, Nakila Blessing of Lancaster, Missouri; two grandchildren, Maddox Dean and Delilah Pearl Neagle of Lancaster, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Carol Jo Neagle of Glenwood, Missouri; one nephew, C. Patrick Neagle; one brother-in-law, Glen Dotson and wife, Sherrie of Grove, Oklahoma; nephews, Samuel Beau Banning of Nashville, Tennessee and Glen Leon Dotson III of Austin, Texas; one cousin, Bob Neagle and wife, Dee Dee of Florida and many good friends and neighbors.
Charlie is preceded by his parents, Darrel Emerson Neagle on December 6,1984 and Martha Isabelle (Dickerson) Neagle on January 28, 1990, 1 brother, James Howard Neagle on May 11, 2007 and one aunt, Elsie Neagle.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Sonny Smyser, Pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
Memorials have been established for Schuyler County Baseball Softball Association (SCBSA). Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com. Burial will be in the St. Johns Cemetery in Livonia, Missouri. Military rites will be conducted by the Schuyler County American Legion Post #784.
