MLB SCOREBOARD…
NATIONAL LEAGUE…
Colorado 10 – WASHINGTON 6… The Rockies scored twice in five of their final six at-bats to bury the Nationals. Nolan Jones homered with a runner aboard. Harold Castro also drove in two runs. Alan Trejo had four hits, including an RBI single.

MILWAUKEE 3 – Cincinnati 2… Christian Yelich singled home Blake Perkins with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Brewers edged the Reds. Sal Frelick tied the game with a sixth-inning solo homer.

Pittsburgh 8 – SAN DIEGO 4… Carlos Santana gave the Pirates the lead for good in the top of the third inning with the first of his two two-run homers in the doubling up of the Padres. Liover Peguero also homered with a runner aboard. Jack Suwinski contributed a solo blast.

St. Louis 10 – ARIZONA 6… Tyler O’Neill’s bases-clearing double capped a five-run top of the ninth inning that carried the Cardinals past the Diamondbacks. Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run homer and singled home a run. Nolan Arenado smacked a solo shot for St. Louis.

AMERICAN LEAGUE…
Kansas City 5 – CLEVELAND 3… Salvador Perez homered with a runner aboard and Garcia added a solo shot as the Royals topped the Guardians. Edward Olivares opened the scoring with a two-run double in the top of the second inning. Ryan Yarbrough (3-5) allowed a run on six hits over six innings.

MINNESOTA 4 – Seattle 3 (10 innings)… Carlos Correa singled home Donovan Solano with the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Twins outlasted the Mariners. Max Kepler doubled home Alex Kirilloff with a tying run in the ninth. Trevor Larnash tripled home a run and scored on Christian Vazquez’s single in the fifth.

HOUSTON 10 – Texas 9… Yainer Diaz singled home Kyle Tucker in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Astros a hard-fought win over the Rangers. Chas McCormick belted a three-run homer and finished with six RBIs.

INTERLEAGUE…
DETROIT 5 – San Francisco 1… Tarik Skubal (1-1) pitched two-hit ball over six innings and three relievers did the rest as the Tigers breezed past the Giants. Kerry Carpenter stroked a pair of run-scoring singles. Zach Short homered with a runner aboard.

Baltimore 3 – PHILADELPHIA 2… Colton Cowser doubled home Gunnar Henderson with a tie-breaking run in the top of the ninth inning and the Orioles made it stand in holding off the Phillies. Jordan Westburg and Ryan Mountcastle homered for Baltimore.

Toronto 6 – L.A. DODGERS 3 (11 innings)… Daulton Varsho stroked a tie-breaking two-run double in the top of the 11th inning as the Blue Jays got past the Dodgers. Matt Chapman hit a solo homer. Kevin Kiermaier and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. produced RBI singles.
