The Kirksville Lady Tigers played a strong first half, but Palmyra came on strong in the second half as the Lady Panthers beat Kirksville 48-41 Tuesday night at Palmyra. KHS went on a 13-0 run covering the late portions of the first quarter and into second to take a 25-16 lead at the break. But Palmyra went on a 14-4 run of their own in the third quarter. helped by Sydney Compton’s 12 third quarter points and went on to win the game 48-41. Compton finished with 18 points to lead all scorers, Channing Totta had 10 to lead Kirksville. The Lady Tigers dip to 6-7 overall and return home Friday for an NCMC doubleheader against Hannibal at Tiger Gym.
