Loretta Lee (Morris) Sparks, 78, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the LaPlata Nursing Home in LaPlata, MO.
The daughter of the late Charles and Beulah (Boley) Morris, she was born August 7, 1941 in Kirksville, Missouri.
Loretta is survived by one son, Jimmy Sizemore of Kirksville, MO; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Cliff Jordan, and Leda and James Stewart all of Kirksville, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy “Buck” and Sharon Morris of Fulton, MO; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lula and Herb Payne, and Beulah “Weisie” and Johnny Gardner all of Kirksville, MO; five grandchildren, Tausha Wyant, Brandon Stewart, Kaylynn Leaver, Jessica Brumbaugh, and Joshua Jones; three great-grandchildren, Embry Wyant, Amity Jones and Matthew Leaver, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles and Gerald Morris; one sister, Bernice Briggs; two half brothers and one half sister.
Loretta received her education in the Kirksville public schools. She was employed in housekeeping for Twin Pines Adult Care Center for many years.
Loretta has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
